Project Overview
Speed Driver is an arcade racing game and one of the key IPs of International Games System Co., Ltd. (IGS). It features card-based gameplay where players can save their progress and car levels on cards. The game includes a story mode and supports local multiplayer racing for up to 4 players. It is well-known in the racing arcade scene in China and has some units exported to Europe.
My Role
I was fortunate to be involved in the production of Speed Driver 4 and 5, primarily focusing on the vehicle aspects. In Speed Driver 5, I served as the Vehicle Team Leader, responsible for setting vehicle and accessory specifications, collaborating with programmers on shader performance, distributing tasks, and managing progress and quality control. Additionally, I oversaw outsourcing. I also introduced and created the racing girl characters in the garage system for Speed Driver 5.

Showcase
In this section, I showcase some of my contributions to the Speed Driver series project, encompassing not only design and 3D modeling but also shader effect testing and specification creation (such as LOD creation). These elements highlight the diversity of my work and my dedication to enhancing the visual and functional quality of the game.
